Kamikaze Angel

Five guys from different areas … different backgrounds … different influences … and different personalities … collided at a musical intersection in Portland, Maine. We present to you … KAMIKAZE ANGEL!!

In February of 2010, the line up of front-man Dave Bloom, guitarist Bret Mills, bass player Rolf Vonderheide and drummer Kris Voisine was solidified and the creation took to flight!!

Blending a musical mix of alternative rock, metal, classic rock and punk, original songs developed quickly for the band and the back and forth collaboration of songwriting became a high flying adventure!

December 16, 2010 saw the band perform their first live show in Portland, ME and since then they have booked more shows and are in the process of continuing to perform and book shows and increase their fan base.

2011 proved to be a great year for the band. Airplay on various stations, including an interview on 106.3 The Bone with Katrina, not to mention a slew of shows. Including opening for The Misfits, as well as playing the Jackfest II show.

Unfortunately, Rolf had to leave the band in November 2011. Never the less the show goes on.

December 2011, guitarist Eric Lavinge was brought in to the line-up. Eric's years and years (some might say decades!) of experience have certainly been beneficial!

The search continued for a bass player. Enter Joe Greene. Bringing his jazz experience into the mix has surely added to our unique sound.
